How To Use Lifetime
Easy to use
LifeTime Wood Treatment comes in two sizes as a powder concentrate to make either 5 litres or 25 litres. Just mix with water. Apply to bare, untreated or pressure treated wood using normal application methods – brush, roller, dipping or spraying. Wood can be handled while wet without leaving marks on the wood, making it a convenient application process during a construction project.
LifeTime is 100% Non-Toxic and Non-Flammable therefore is not subject to any restrictive Health and Safety or Environmental regulations. However, it is good practice to keep out of reach of children. LifeTime is harmless to People, Animals & Pets, Plants & Soil, Water and Fish.
In accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.
Easy to clean-up
LifeTime Wood Treatment cleans up simply with soap and water.
Shelf life
In its concentrated dry form, LifeTime will store indefinitely. After mixing with water, the solution keeps best in a sealed container and will last a very long time. If you mix only what you need, you minimize the possibility of having large amounts of LifeTime solution left over.
Sealers
Sealers are not necessary and not recommended. LifeTime Wood Treatment does not seal wood but instead allows the wood to breathe and mature naturally.
Surface preparation
Wood should be clean and frost-free.
Lifetime Preparation
Simply add the concentrated dry powder to water at the ratio of 22gm to 5 litres of water and stir thoroughly. Some particles may not dissolve completely, which is normal. It will not effect the efficiency of the product. Stir occasionally during use to maintain proper solution.
Application
LifeTime can be applied with a brush, roller, sprayer or by dipping.
When using a sprayer the mixed solution should be left for 5 minutes and then any floating particles should be filtered before pouring into sprayer.
Lifetime can be applied in any weather, even at temperatures down to 0C.
Drying time
Approximately 2 hours – 12 hours, depending upon weather conditions.
You can work with LifeTime treated wood, whilst it is still wet, it never gets tacky or sticky and even walking on wet decking will not permanently mark the wood.
Number of coats required
One and only one for the LifeTime of the wood.
Maintenance
No re-application of LifeTime is necessary.
Keep your wood looking good by cleaning once a year.
